BRANDING
A brand evolution to establish Seismic as an enterprise leader.
OPPORTUNITY
Late in 2023, Seismic’s CMO requested the brand creative team to evolve Seismic’s imagery style to effectively communicate and visualize that Seismic is a bold, future-focused, high tech leader. The request included a new image library that could be used in tandem with the human-focused, empathetic imagery Seismic had previously established. There was also a desire for Seismic to show up more professional, enterprise, clean and contemporary as a known leader in its sales enablement category.

SOLUTION
The creative team set out to solve for this new style of imagery, while staying cognizant of the brand Seismic had already established. It was imperative that we remained cohesive, approachable, and ownable. After competitive research, concepting, and refining, a direction of simplified 3D shapes that felt futuristic and elevated was approved by Seismic’s CMO.
3D SHAPE CREATION
In an effort to maintain flexibility and be able to support a living library of 3D shapes with limited budget, I explored different 3D rendering tools we could learn and use in house. I found Spline to be very user friendly. I spent some time learning the program and created the initial library. The goal is to train the entire design team in Spline so anyone can self-service new shapes as needed.
One of the new additions to the brand were a variety of gradients utilizing Seismic’s color palette. These gradients are used to draw attention in to the content and feel like a dynamic, living piece of the brand through its fluidity of color application.

The new look and feel of Seismic’s brand launched in March, 2024.
CONCLUSION
The design team built out a new brand style guide, curated lifestyle imagery library, created a robust 3D image library that will constantly be updated and added to, new social templates, a rolled out corporate powerpoint template, and made key updates to Seismic.com images and styles.
Key metrics we are looking at include boosting social engagement, growing pipeline through improved integrated campaign results, seeing more traction on dotcom, and increasing downloads of Seismic content.
