LIVE EVENT
A global conference jam-packed with branded experiences.
OPPORTUNITY
Shift is Seismic’s annual customer event; customers and prospects travel from all around the world to connect, gain inspiration, and learn from leading experts on enablement. In the spring of 2023, Seismic’s Brand and Events team came together in preparation for the fall event to bring the event to life through a unique brand and thoughtful experiential design.

EVENT ATTENDEE
MY ROLE
I was responsible for the execution of the brand across all designed touch points, including digital, print, swag, signage and presentation designs, as well as the management of creative vendors, stakeholder communication, operations, budget planning and management, and gaining final sign off from the Senior Director of Brand and Events.
The first step to such a robust project was to take the time up front to create a communication system and an organized content map for designers, stakeholders, and vendors to work against.
PLAN OF ATTACK
I created a simplified key for reviewing asynchronously across all stakeholders with Google slides. We used a color system for quick scanability, and sought feedback through tagging stakeholders and checking for initials for final sign off.
An example of a slide with medium signage designs, complete and approved through tags, initials, colored dots, and links to final working files.
Before we could execute the signage designs, I mapped out the space and worked alongside the events team to determine how to allocate the budget we had and how to make the space feel immersive, with several key branded moments across the entire space. I worked alongside our production partner to gain measurements and pricing of each space we were planning to brand and communicated that to the design team to execute.
The work streams were broken down into five categories: swag, large signage, medium signage, print, and digital. Within each of these categories, a designer was assigned as the lead, and collaborated closely with one or two other designers to execute.
I had multiple weekly design reviews with my team over the summer and fall to give feedback on their work streams and ensure the brand was staying cohesive.

EVENT
Shift took place over three days, with well over 1,000 attendees. I captured candid photos that I could edit quickly so the team could post recaps across social and the blog each night, as well as include in the next day’s presentations.
Shift was Seismic’s most successful event in its history.
